This class begins with a dynamic vinyasa sequence to warm and strengthen the body, including hip openers, warrior variations and leg and core work.
Gina is a Vinyasa and Yin teacher who began her yoga teaching journey in India, the motherland of yoga. Her teaching method is very much a functional approach; she encourages an awareness of what is right for your body, not worrying about the aesthetics of yoga but giving functional instructions to allow you to access each pose in the way that’s right for you. In her classes, you will be encouraged to use the breath as your guide to creating a moving meditation, building strength and flexibility whilst giving you the space to nurture some mental quiet. Gina is grateful to the beautiful country of India and its people for allowing the ancient tradition of yoga to be introduced, practised and taught in the West.
