Mandala classes work with an intention and relate to one of the elements that all of us embody – fire, air, earth and water. Rarely in nature do you find strict or straight lines, and inspired by this you will explore moving the body circularly, rotating 360 degrees around the mat. Starting and finishing the class with a Yin Yoga posture, designed to bring awareness and opening to the area which connects to the element in question, the Mandala sequence then builds from there, with plenty of opportunities to make the class as dynamic as you like. There are options for arm balances and more advanced transitions, but these are optional and mandala meets each practitioner where they are that day. Expect meditative, creative and mindful flows and to leave feeling peaceful and connected.
